Web
Site Development Program
Instructors:
Marilyn Hager and Andrew Adleman
As
the capabilities of the web expand to allow more and more
creativity to be expressed, the technical demands on the
designer become more complex. This program is designed to
explore cutting-edge developments in the most commonly used
web site development programs available to the web artist
today. Because this is an intermediate course, your well-rounded
skills with web navigation and computer file management
will allow the instructors to focus on the intricacies of
the graphics programs rather than basic computer usage.
Step-by-step
hands-on instruction will be given until approximately 1.5
hours before the end of class, after which you will have
time to explore your own creative ideas and ask questions.
Two instructors are available at all times so that you can
also ask questions along the way. We encourage an open forum
for expressing ideas. Your insights and experiences enhance
the knowledge of the instructors and enrich the classroom
environment. We will build a web site using each class to
create a section in the site so that you will have a structured
body of work to draw techniques from when the course is
complete.
